Al-Idrisi (1099 - 1166 C.E.)
Al-Idrisi was born in Ceuta, Spain, in 1099 C.E. His major contribution is in the book Kitabal-Jami-li-SifatAshat-al-Nabatat, the book about medicinal plans. He has given the name of drugs in six different languages :
Syriac, Greek, Persian, Hindi, Latin, Berber.
He was one of the well-known scientists.

Ibn-al-Sina (980 - 1037 C.E.)

Ibn-al-Sina was born in 980 C.E. in the village of Afshana near Bukhara in Russia. He studied philisophyand natural science and studied logic, euclid, and the almeagest at the age of 16. He composed a book at the age of 21. He was a writer and a painter. Now his pictures and books are everywhere in the museum. He was great!

Al-Biruni was born in 973 C.E. He was a very well known scientist and a good writer. Here are some of his books :
